Awards and recognition

We have been very lucky to be acknowledged for recognition in different awards right on top of TIC's advertising for our own awards.

Below you can see more details of each event to make it easier to know what you are voting for.

National Diversity Awards

The National Diversity Awards is a prestigious black tie event that celebrates the excellent achievements of grass-root communities that tackle the issues in today’s society.

For the past 5 years we have been nominated for the Community Organisation Awards.

This award applauds groups, charities and voluntary organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to their local community, or nationwide, with diversity as their core focus.

Emma Hardy Community Champion Award

Emma Hardy Community Champion Award

The last few years have been challenging for many people with the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis.

Through the most difficult times there has been a beacon of hope; the wonderful people and organisations that volunteer to support their community.

I, and I'm sure many others, want to give back to those who generously give their time to ensuring people in our communities are looked after. That's why I've created the Emma Hardy Community Champion Award to recognise those who do so much for others.

Please complete the voting form below to vote for an individual and/or an organisation based in Hull West and Haltemprice you think deserves recognition

TIC awards

Lastly we have the TIC awards

This is our opportunity to recognise members of the community for the role they play in making our community inclusive for those living with Tourettes Syndrome. Whether it be a school, teacher, employer, someone who does their bit to share awareness, or simply acknowledging someone who is living with Tourettes Syndrome/tics and overcoming adversities, facing challenges head on.
