each week has a different topic. We focus on activities that will hopefully encourage the children to open up more about their thoughts/feelings, will help them learn strategies to self-manage any emotions related to their conditions and most importantly make new friends, relax and have fun a safe environment.
We understand that not all of our children will feel confident coming to group so we have no problem with parents attending too, there is the choice to stay with the children or go into the lounge for a chat. Sometimes we will encourage parents to leave the room if we are doing an activity where we are hoping they will open up.

Parents are encouraged to drop off their child, however we understand not all children can cope with being left and are happy to support in the process of a gradual separation.
